Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Gainesville Sunrise, Outbound RYE student Jay is spending her exchange year in Uberaba, Brazil, where she is being hosted by the Rotary Club of Uberaba Leste. Growing up in a rural community outside Gainesville, she is getting to compare similar communities, and explore the many cultural differences between Archer and Uberaba. In her latest journal entry, she shared several short entries that provide an insight into her daily life as an exchange student in rural Brazil.
