Clay County Joins the Global Fight to End Polio

Clay County Board of Commissioners officially proclaimed October 24, 2025, as World Polio Day, recognizing the importance of polio vaccinations and the global efforts to eradicate the disease.

Representatives from Rotary Clubs across Clay County — including Orange Park Sunrise, Orange Park Sunset, Orange Park Noon, Fleming Island, Green Cove Springs, Keystone Heights, Northeast Florida, as well as Ridgeview High School Interact, Fleming Island Interact, St. Johns Classical Academy Interact, and St. Johns Country Day Interact — gathered to show their support.

Throughout the year, these clubs sponsor service projects that address critical issues such as poverty and disease. Together, they will celebrate World Polio Day on October 24, 2025, standing united with Rotarians around the world in the fight to end polio.
